For Dog Owners
As a Dog Owner, you can change or cancel an existing reservation from the bookings & messages. Your reimbursement depends on the Sitter’s cancellation policy, which is clearly stated on their listings.
There are 3 options:
Flexible: Full refund up to a day before service starts
Moderate: Full refund with 5 days notice , 50% refund thereafter
Strict: 50% refund with 7 days notice, no refund thereafter
In the case of Dog Boarding (24h), if you wish to cancel on the same start day of the booking, a 2 nights non-refundable minimum applies.
In the case of Dog Day Care, Dog Walking and Other Services, the flexible cancellation policy always applies.
If a supplement was added and paid after the booking was initially confirmed then the given cancellation policy would also apply.
For Sitters
To cancel a booking that you pre-approved but is not yet confirmed and paid, log into your account and click on the ‘’Bookings & messages’’ tab. Select the booking thread you’d like to cancel. This will then open the conversation thread and at the top of the page you will see a link to cancel. Follow the easy steps. We recommend you also send a personal message to the owner with a valid reason. This enhances your profile and chances of building commercial relationships with future customers.
