What to do in case of a Dog Biting incident;

Another dog bit my guest dog:

  • If the dog is bitten and in need of medical care, take it straight to its registered vet, or the nearest vet and inform the Owner. You can then inform DogBuddy at help@dogbuddy.com or on 0203 095 2852 as soon as possible. We also have a dedicated 24/7 Vet line number (0203 474 0557). Please ensure that you have the Booking reference number ready when you call. You can find your Booking ID in any emails you receive when a booking is confirmed. Please note that the emergency vet line is only for bookings made through DogBuddy while a dog is under your care.

My guest dog bit another dog/person (outside the sitter home):

  • If there is an emergency situation involving the dog you are boarding and another dog, please ensure you stay with the other Owner, assist them and save all bills & correspondence. Please also contact DogBuddy directly on 0203 095 2852 and send all info received from the Owner to help@dogbuddy.com

Please contact us directly on 0203 095 2852 or to help@dogbuddy.com for any incident related to the Guest dog you are caring for, or for more specific information.
